Amazingly it is the last full week of November already!  Wow time flies when you are having fun!  It is nearly time for Resolution Revolution 2016 – launching in December – exciting times!

This final week of November, is traditionally one of giving thanks in America and with December nearly upon us wherever we are in the world, it is the perfect time to look back with gratitude and to look forward with hope.

Gently beginning to close out 2015, exploring the surprises, the successes and the challenges that this year has brought.  Where has there has been growth? What signs are there already for the growth to come?

We can mindfully use these final 5 weeks of the year to celebrate this outgoing year and to welcome in 2016 with a plan and a can-do-attitude. The latest neuroscience research on motivation suggests we have to create a massive boost in our thoughts, in order to create a physiological boost in our brains in turn creating the boost in our action, which bursts through our natural inclination for stasis .

Some coaching questions you may find useful in this pursuit:

  • What successes will you celebrate achieving in 2015? In each aspect of your Work & Life. What are you proudest of?
  • If success was guaranteed, what would you have happen in the last 5 weeks of 2015 to close the year out on a high? What 1 small step can you take today to move you closer to that success?
  • What has been your biggest learning? What value will this add to 2016?
  • Who would you like to acknowledge?
